Open to new projects

Hi, I build stuff that works.

Developer from the Netherlands. I build web apps and tools - for fun and on request. Clean code, direct communication.

About me

I'm Justin, a software developer based in the Netherlands. JXHQ is my place on the internet - where I collect everything I build, from personal experiments to client projects.

I got into programming because I simply love making things that work. Taking an idea, thinking it through, and turning it into something concrete gives me energy. Bringing structure to chaos. Building something that makes sense.

When someone comes to me with an idea, I treat it like it's my own project. I think along, ask questions, and look beyond just "build this".

No agency. No middlemen. You talk directly to the person designing and writing the code. That's faster, clearer, and simply better.

Working from the Netherlands, available for remote work anywhere.

Solo developer

No team overhead. You work directly with the developer - fast, focused, and personal.

Self-hosted everything

I run my own servers and infrastructure - and can help you do the same, or work with whatever you already have.

Building for fun

Most of what I know came from personal projects - things I built because I was curious, not because someone paid me to.

How I work

Simple process. No fluff, no surprises.

01

Chat

Tell me what you need. I'll ask the right questions, think it through, and give you an honest take - before any code is written.

02

Build

I build iteratively and keep you in the loop. Short cycles, real progress - no big reveal at the end.

03

Ship

Clean code, deployed and working. I don't disappear after delivery - I'm around if something needs fixing or growing.

Questions

What kind of projects do you take on? +

Pretty much anything web-related: websites, web apps, internal tools, APIs, and integrations. I also enjoy jumping into existing codebases - reviewing, fixing, or extending.

How do you handle pricing? +

Fixed price for clearly scoped work, hourly for open-ended or ongoing projects. I'll always be upfront about cost before we start - no surprises.

Do you work remotely? +

Yes, fully remote. I've worked with clients from different countries - with good communication it works great. GitHub, Discord, or email keep things moving.

Can I self-host what you build? +

Yes - and I actively encourage it. I run my own infrastructure and love helping others do the same. No vendor lock-in, ever.

Got something in mind?

Whether it's a customer project or just an idea you want to bounce off someone - I'm happy to chat. No strings attached.
